well, actually we're bloody good at looking at the big picture
and getting all your bits and bobs humming to the same Hymn sheet.


branding is a wholistic approach to your companies position, customer interactions and operations based on your company's values. the process of branding is devoted to establishing and nurturing a relationship with your customers.
your 'brand' however, is your customer's feeling or perception about your company. it's emotional, and sometimes intangible understanding of what your company is, its not just an intellectual memory of your logo.
your logo is not your brand.

It's this big picture that gets me excited. I'll usually ask you a few questions about what you're already doing for your marketing.
Don't be offended if I ask you to show me your bits. what I actually mean is your brochures, stationery, signage, ads... all that stuff.

these are the touchpoints that represent your business to your potential customers.
it's important that they are working together and not fighting with each other. a bit like your staff.
i'll also want to know who these customers are, and how you're currently getting them to buy your stuff.
this is the think stage, some people call it marketing.

after that it's on to the plan stage. once we know who we need to talk to, we'll have a pretty good idea about what to say to them. and how to say it. this is the perfect time to design how it might look. this stage forms the beginnings of your brand.
we'll do some planning and suss out the best ways in which to reach your customers. usually this is a combination of a series of marketing tools, your packaging, brochures, websites, social media, advertising,
networking, and we'll take a look at how these things might look and how they relate to each other. we'll create templates and guidelines to use as benchmarks.

once the thinking and planning have been done. we will usually have some style guidelines about what the stuff should look like, and some idea of what those things should be. so we get on with designing them and making them look good. the design stage.
